Hello again to whoever takes time to look at my work and thank you.
Here is a change from the O.G. Sioux I have been painting, its a Turkish Kettle Drummer from Redoubt Enterprise miniatures in 28mm.
I picked up this figure 2nd hand for a £1 at the Falkirk wargames show from Phil Olley, new its £5, not sure if its worth that?
Anyhow the Camel is spot on and a really nice sculpt the Turkish rider is a bit stiff and not the best but does a job.
I painted this reasonably quickly and will be getting back to the 40mm O.G. Sioux as soon as I am back from Gran Canaria. So anyone waiting to see more Injuns will have to wait a couple of weeks.
Thanks again for looking and any comments welcome.

40mm Mounted Indian Old Glory - Sash and Sabre Roan
Hello again to one and all, here again is a mounted 40mm O.G. Indian. This time the horse I tried for is a Blue Roan, and I am reasonably happy with the way it turned out. I asked my wife for a type of horse colour for a change and this is what she said, I had never heard of it before, to be honest. It was not the easiest colour to paint and I am not even sure that a Sioux warrior would have had one, unless he borrowed one from someone.
The horses head and lower legs needed to be black and the rest a mottled grey/blue, with a black mane and tail.
A note for some people including my son, the horse is not wearing spectacles.
Any comments are welcome and thanks for looking.

40mm Old Glory Sioux warrior Indian Sash and Sabre
Here is another Old Glory 40mm Sioux warrior.
I have managed to pick up another 7 of these in a trade for some 28mm Indian Mutiny Mutineer Highlanders. I still would like more or again some of the US Cavalry figures. Not much more to say really, any questions will be answered and any comments are welcome.
Thanks for looking.

Here as promised is a second 40mm OG Sioux Indian. Again its a very nice sculpt and enjoyable to paint. This time I tried for a Piebald horse, its seems to have worked.
More of these to come, again if anyone out there has any of these spare or US. Cavalry for trade or swap please let me know.
Any comments welcome, thanks for looking.
Michael.

Old Glory 40mm Sioux War chief {Sash and Sabre}
The figure this time is an Old Glory or Sash and Sabre for some people, 40mm Sioux War chief on a Palomino. I never thought much of these figures before, never actually getting one in my hand, but now I have and have painted it, they are excellent sculpts.
I am on the lookout for more of these, so if anyone has any spare for trade or sale please let me know.
There will be more of these to come, so keep checking for updates.
Again thanks for looking and any comments welcome. Michael
